Looking at the state of that column I would say it's highly likely that's the part Amanda said it was waiting for.
I would imagine they've found lots more things that need attention whilst they were up there
Yet if this is the 'part' would it really have taken this long to reach us ?Looking at the state of that column I would say it's highly likely that's the part Amanda said it was waiting for.

Well it makes sense now.Yet if this is the 'part' would it really have taken this long to reach us ?
But if that was always the plan then why wouldn’t the park just announce something along the lines of that the ride would be closed for the season and that it would reopen in 2025?Well it makes sense now.
We all wondered why it was taking so long for the "part". Now you can hardly put in a crane and remove the centre column with a park full of guests, so better to wait till the weekend only opening to undertake the work

I think that is the air cylinder where the piston runs in, it has been cut open rather than un bolted so it looks to be getting binned, how long till this is in the shop?

I feel like they are fixing it as it looks like only the cylinder has come out suggesting the structure is still in place,I would assume an easier method of destruction would have been taking the structure down with the cylinder.
The question is.... Where will the smoke come out..?I heard a statue of Mandy going on top of there and every 5 mins a smoke effect will go off.
oh yeah, I think I was getting confused with the huss shot towerI think that's just for air storage rather than directly driving the ride. Air is pumped into it at the start of a ride cycle before being let into the pistons, which are the 4 smaller red cylinders on the tower. The car is suspended by 4 wires, one running through each of the cylinders.
Getting that thing out would have been a challenge - by the looks of it the 4 pistons were welded to the side of it, so they'll have had to cut through the brackets on all sides at multiple places up the tower.
