Can always sit it out in The Velvet Coaster... hell I love Wetherspoons almost as much as I love theme parks!Love this site for the quality of the discussion...

How many coasters will break down on opening day then?
Not going to go on opening day this year due to work, but I always love watching the Revolution train being towed back into the station.
Managed to valley out the Big One on the early openings as well last year.
Renewed in August for £80How much did you guys with a season pass pay for renewal this season? I’ve just bought our family passes for this year £99.99 each and was wondering if there are renewal rates. The price for them now is something insane like £190

Looked from the latest photos Amanda Thompson put on Twitter of Icon they were doing some work on the building.
There were lots of rumours swirling about what was happening to Coasters as a catering outlet now that Icon is being built right in front of it.
Has anyone heard or seen anything further? I liked the pieces of old artwork and history in there, so it would be a shame to see this disappear, but I know BPB have previous on cleansing some of their history. It’s also noteworthy that it’s probably the most outdated of BPB’s catering outlets now, so should be due for an overhaul anyway.
Let me guess the new name... "Fountains"?Coasters has been 'gutted' and is being refurbished into a completely different catering unit.
