Carowinds: General Discussion
They've also installed a webcam, and the lift has grown since those photos were taken! They've also got the bottom of the drop in place. https://www.carowinds.com/swarm/building-the-nest/live-camera-feed

I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes the extended spine.I do like these extra thick track spines / supports that B&M make these days.

For anyone interested, I have discovered a second webcam that Carowinds have set up but are not yet displaying anywhere on their website, showing the other side of the construction site. You can see one peice of track in place here and a few supports, as well as all the track and supports waiting in the car parks. This will be a more interesting view as construction progresses.

This is state of the lift so far:
No word on when they plan to pop the last piece in.
(webcam is at http://pixelcaster.com/live/carowinds/camera1.html in case anybody has forgotten/cba looking for it
)
Looks like an absolute beast and I hope I find myself near it in the not too distant future!
