Advert?
ryanlovesaltontowers said:Not sure if anyone was aware of this yet but a new advert for CBeebies Land has popped up on Vimeo. It includes the footage that aaas filmed the other month and follows on from the existing style used for the Towers adverts since 2012.

Re: 2014: CBeebies Land
Here are some photos I took yesterday, I have to say the whole area is looking pretty much finished, with just little bits here and there being done yesterday. Postman Pat and get set go were both running. And Get Set Go even had audio playing on some of the cars! I think I also saw a very quick glimpse of the uniform, which has purple tops and a purple hat. However the staff were far away so couldn't see in great detail.
Entrance:
Sensory garden with video:
Get Set Go:
CBeebies bugs waiting to be installed on to the cars:
Postman Pat:
And finally it looks like there will be a queue line outside the entrance to the area:
Audio was also playing in the area, The entrance audio seems to be a mixture of CBeebies show music (I think), with some more ambient music in between. There is a video of it on the TowersStreet Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/towersstreet). Also the something special sensory garden had videos playing.

Don't worry, Merlin are just making up for Legolands Play area, was due to be finished in February, now looking to be end of may time.
Maelstrom said:This must be a record for an Alton towers project, 10 days until opening and looking almost finished! Most Alton projects still have more to do than what's left in CBeebies land the night before opening! I hope they have finally learned.

Oi, leave the old farm music alone!
EDIT:
Anyway, here is a rather cringeworthy video:

Re: 2014: CBeebies Land
Alton Towers have just released a Parent and Toddler map for CBeebies Land here:
http://www.altontowers.com/uploadedFiles/CBeebiesLand/Content/Useful_Info/parent-toddler-map-2014.pdf
No major new details but there is a few things I haven't noticed before, like a queue board in CBeebies Land that I imagine is why Ride Times has been updated.

I have to that is one of the best Alton Towers Maps we've had! Its mostly in proportion, its been edited well, and its actually readable! Im Impressed! Also the information has been edited to aim more towards families which again, is a nice change to the usual descriptions! Well done Towers if you ask me ;D

Re: 2014: CBeebies Land
The gardens are nearly non-existent and Th13teen appears to be opposite Extraordinary Golf now.
The 'Enchanted Forest coming soon' part reminds me of how the park used to let people know about future developments in the 90s and early 00s and it looks really smart! No prizes for guessing this is a family year though. There's heavy emphasis on everything 'family' - particularly Cbeebies Land (obviously), Cloud Cuckoo Land and Mutiny Bay. I like the use of the signs for those three areas too, and it's a shame that they haven't done the same for the others. It certainly reaffirms the map's emphasis on the family attractions this year.
I still say the resort needs to be on a separate map by itself to allow more space for the park. We know Merlin love to remind everyone of their 'theme park resorts', but the theme park and the resort are two different things and should go back to being treated as such, for the sake of a more practical and less cluttered map.
Overall, it's nice.

Re: 2014: CBeebies Land
Thats because the Map is specifically made for families with small children as it says on the front
This is to run along side the normal Resort Map
