@OilyWater I think the change back to Forbidden Tomb is more than just a rumour. I say this as the rumour/news started from an announcement from Nick Hudson one of the men behind the Tomb Blaster refurbishment that took place earlier this year. Also if you remember a few of the targets were removed from the first couple of scenes in Tomb Blaster. Personally I think the targets were removed as a test to see the public’s reaction to the ride experience minus the guns. Finally Nick Hudson said at the time of the refurbishment that he was hoping to put the Terror back into the Tomb. To me this statement sounds like Nick Hudson knew about the return of Forbidden Tomb but simply didn’t announce it for whatever reason.

@pluk I apologise for breaking this news too you but Zapomatic was the main character of The 5th Dimension not Terror/Forbidden Tomb. Abdab was the main character in both of the original Tomb variants of Tomb Blaster,this means that if anyone is given mouth to mouth and returns it will be Abdab and not Zapomatic.

@pluk Arr ya shore this is the Black Buccaneer that used to sail the stormy seas of Chessington World Of Adventures? I thought the Black Buccaneer had its maiden voyage in 1988 and not in 1982 as the advertisement on the website suggests. With regards to Ramasis Revenge I think the only buyer will be a Theme Park that requires spare parts for thier Topspin. Alternatively a scrap metal delears could buy Ramasis,melt it down and make something e.g. a bus shelter. I hope that the ride is reparable if purchased by the right person but I seriously doubt that it is!! @pluk do you know what has become of the Vintage Cars from Toadies Crazy Cars or even the Wind In The Willows themeing?

It is Chessington’s one, and I imagine they take those numbers from their retained documentation so they should be correct. I can only presume wasn't new when Chessington purchased. There wasn't an internet full of sluthing geeks to document it at the time though. The ride type was already 10 years old in '88 so its certainly likely.
