Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Coaster looks fun. Expected to see a boost below the helix so that hasn't surprised me. But the more of the coaster's station I see the less interested I get. As it currently stands, the station is just a big grey glob, lacking in character. Unlike the station theming on Farmyard Flyer, which looks more vibrant and has more than one material than just metal.

Don't judge before March though considering the wickerman inspired style main theming structure they might still pull a nicely themed station out of the bag.

The booster - I don't quite get why the need for it, still makes it more interesting
 
It’s a sluggish ride vehicle and the spikes are not that high so having a mid course boost isn’t surprising. I doubt it will be a particularly noticeable boost though.
 
I originally thought it had the blandest layout imaginable but seeing that it does seem to have some nice swooping elements it's grown on me. The booster is also not a straight section of track so that should be a fun moment. It'll be good for first time thrillseekers and just a bit of fun for us lot who like more extreme thrills.

Recent reliability has made it, as well as about 85% of Merlin built attractions, an easy target and there is just a general anger at the park, and probably with Thorpe and Chessie too, from fans who want a scapegoat for all the problems and Thirteen is the unlucky winner here.

Other than Wicker Man, I'm trying to think of a Merlin ride of late that gained universal praise from everyone but I feel I'm going off topic here.
 
A wing coaster themed to Mandrills... that doesn't seem to fit very well in my humble opinion. Chessington Buzz believe that Ostrich Stampede is an SBF Superjump, that fits it quite well.

That’s certainly what the logo implies, so I actually wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case…
