Think the Champions League campaign and FA Cup wins sort of mask the very patchy league season.

Plus they've had a very favourable last 16 draw in the champions league.

But look at the past week, good draw with Liverpool, late winner vs Chelsea, thoroughly beaten by Crystal Palace.
Still have a good league run now and top 5 and a champions league place is still achievable.

Yeh they do have a fairly good run in.
Always seems to be a drop off as well with new teams qualifying for champions league. See Newcastle

Michael Oliver not even giving a free kick for the face booting by the keeper whilst stood 5 yards away from it is laughable. Needing VAR to show him it was a red even worse.
Jonathan Pearce going on a weird little spiel about how rubbish var is when by that point they'd had to use it to tell the ref to send a player off, and to award Palaces second goal after the linesman flagged for offside after it came off a Millwall defender.

I saw the palace goal. It did it's job. Perfectly.

Jonathan Pearce is just odd.

Really good weekend of FA Cup football, and with a game tomorrow.

Feels like it's really opened up as well with the draw. City having to go to Bournemouth. Villa probably the favourites now what with them having Preston away in the quarter finals.

Citeh are still the favourites even with their poor form. Especially as it's the only cup left for them this year.

I'd be dreading a Palace Brighton final though.
