Doesn't seem fair to me at all.
It's because football is a business and is in the eye of the media. Stars can pay more so I think paying more than bodies that earn there money from sponsorship should all be fined a "Euro 2012 fine". A specific fine set for a crime in the Euro's.
Games were the first round of both pretty boring ones today. It sure had the group with the most potential for caginess.
Well England are doomed. Spain or Italy. Paella or Pasta. Plane home or plane home?

Neither, I'll for narrow victory by the 3 Lions against Ukraine, followed by beating Italy, followed by beating the Germans on penalties, followed up by winning Euro 2012 after beating Portugal in the final. ;D

If we go qualify tomorrow night, and I will be bitterly disappointed if we don't, then we definitely have a chance against either Italy or Spain. Sure we will probably be the underdogs but Spain haven't looked at their best when I've watched them and Italy aren't that good! Tomorrow night is the number 1 priority though!

Also, Rooney should NOT start tomorrow. If he does it would be simply wrong and I hope he gets sent off and the country turns against him (but we still win).
That's like saying Messi shouldn't play for Argentina if he were to be suspended. As much as I hate saying it, Rooney is an absolute class above the rest of England's forward players - and we'll need every ounce of that class against the home crowd and the hosts.

I strongly disagree. If the last game had been lost then changes could be justified, but they won and have achieved current second in the table without Rooney being there. Starting him tonight would be demoralising to whoever had to give way and also to the team. He's also crudely and predictably aggressive and easily wound up. The opposition players will know that and act on it. He's a liability in international tournaments....'a jab with a pin' if you follow.

Ooh, a Hednesford supporter. I do photography at most of FC United's games, so I follow them in the NPL. Unlucky on the battering by BPA, would definitely have preferred to play you in the final than them (because you are a better club obviously).

Never been happier to be bed ridden with the flu in my life. The season went downhill fast after beating Chester in Wales. The Psychoaster said:Moley said:Spain should be packing their bags and heading home, the referee bailed them out big time against Croatia.

Hopefully we'll both go up next season! (us as champions obviously)

Well you've just lost yourself some money. I think he will be shaky under the pressure and have some rustiness to shake off. I could see him pop in one goal if the United chemistry and a supporting winger like Walcott can assist, but Ukraine will want to make a impression and one of their top priorities is to always mark and close down Rooney. Should I be more positive? I guess since we might possibly be out by the next round!

Looks like you might be right on the basis of the first half!
