Wonder if they may do another alternative reality scenario with a Galactica closure after fireworks? Given it’s a “Phalanx” event after all?…

Long term story telling and all that…

More likely to be Ocean related in my opinion.

It could just as easily be both though, especially if Galactica is getting some sort of retheme, however little it may end up being.

Whatever it is, it does look like there'll be screens used as the trusses put up on the lawns are the same as those when they did the Nemesis announcement in 2022.

Well my heart just sank a little. The Phalanx was already unimaginative a decade ago when they were properly introduced, and now it's awkwardly plastered everywhere - it's incredibly tedious. Please leave Air out of this.
It's a bit depressing that it seems like they are THIS unimaginative and people are praising the phalanx theme. Heck, I've seen people prefer it to the original rustic theme online, probably just the current trend at Towers. Guess it's too much to ask a ride to simply be fun and made for everyone that ISN'T associated with a dark theme or the Phalanx/Nemesis lore. Might as well give up on Towers at this point as there seems to be no turning back for now.

More military warzone stuff coming to complete the area's transition to Sub-Terra Valley then? The shipping containers will arrive in January I reckon.

The graphic seems to be pointing towards a less bleak Phalanx theme, but it will be disappointing if there are a lot of the usual shipping containers dotted around. The park like their nostalgia, if they can capture the essence of what Air was with more elaborate Phalanx theming than shipping containers, then it could be decent, without making it a confused mashup of the two just for nostalgia's sake.

Cohesiveness isn't a bad thing. All I'm hoping for is a storytelling angle that suits the tone of Galactica without falling into industrial drabness. The Phalanx obviously have scientists, so that's a side they can lean on more while creating a lighter/optimistic retheme, it can't be too similar to Nemesis Reborn's more horrifying monster containment feel. Some sort of scientific exploration of John Wardley's proposed oasis could be a nice angle... could be that we're flying through a decontaminated part of Forbidden Valley as Phalanx explorers, or looking for a new home to dunk the Nemesis monster/a new home for humanity because of the Nemesis monster's adverse affect on earth...

Wouldn't run it past them not to include containers in some way, they squeezed one into world of Jumanji. Merlin's shipping container obsession is beyond memeable at this point. If they can put the thought into crafting a more optimistic and colourful Phalanx sci-fi theme and refrain from copying and pasting the very same style architecture from the Nemesis side, then it could be alright. No one wants to see drab industrial theming and shipping containers.
