Gröna Lund: General Discussion

I assume this is the final colour scheme and it isn't that bad but i hope there's a little theming but with Grona Lund being an amusement park, i'm not expecting much!Track is very much still arriving on site, with the lift hill now looking complete as well:

Just seen on the European Coaster Club twitter that the first drop is in place and it looks a lot similar to Banshee's at Kings Island only a bit shorter!

Presumably Grona Lund are already investigating how to add yet another another drop tower to the side of the main support
When I saw this new retrofit from S&S the other day the first park I thought of was Gröna Lund, at least all their towers would then offer a somewhat different experience!
Anyway, pretty sure this wins the award for B&M’s weirdest support ever.

Looks good and fits in well and looks very intense as well!

If I'm right, Grona Lund had proposed an invert in around 2008 which would have been a lot bigger than this. In fact:
They were denied permission though sadly but it seems like they had their heart set on an invert which is why we're getting this. I still can't wait for it though as it gives me another excuse to visit the park

ECC have posted an animated POV of Monster. It looks... whelming.
Potentially very premature thoughts given it is only an animation, but I cannot stand these new B&Ms where all the elements are long, drawn out and slow.

I’m just glad a B&M invert is being built. They are soft porn to look at.

Hopefully the real thing is better than it appears in the POV. I can't help but feel that the pacing seems off in that video. If it does carry more speed then it could be quite intense.
Agreed.
The ratio between the drop and that first inversion looks like it would clear it faster than it does on the POV.
