Kennywood: 2019 S&S Coaster - Steel Curtain

God. The entire theme and name of this ride are so awful. In a park like Kennywood, aswell. It would be like having a Manchester United themed ride and area at a park. Just... what!?

Still, I think it looks interesting!

This roller coaster looks incredible! Like a giant El Loco!

I wonder if I can get here by Greyhound bus :D

Slightly different when the vast majority of people attending this park will be Steelers fans so it makes more sense than it would here.

Being a Utd fan from Manchester I'd be perfectly happy with a coaster based on United ;) However it's just not workable in this country.
 
Now when they built the new big stands for Blackburn Rovers i thought what a waste...they could have easily built a coaster from all that tubular steel, then hung a stadium underneath it.
Much more sensible idea.
Possibly.

Definitely a rollercoaster being a Rovers fan. My wife is one. Hahahaha

The lift hill is going up, and looks like they plan to top it off this week!



Also the July opening date was merely a rumour that the park have dismissed. It is coming on well, if there are no problems then I do not see why it could not open around Memorial Day.
