Sorry to double post, but the park have launched the official commercial for Wildfire today. As with everything we've seen so far, it is incredibly dramatic!
The park have also uploaded an updated version of the animated POV that includes some flyover shots of the animation, showing just how imposing the lift and first elements of the ride will look on the stunning Swedish landscape.
Along with this video, talking briefly about the design of the logo, both for printed media and 3D animation.
All good stuff

So lets have an update on Wildfire, the latest volg found below entitled 'The Four Towers' seems to suggest there has been a design change on the project, much like the one that occurred on Goliath at Six Flags Great America!
So it would seem the lift and drop is no longer going to be made out of traditional wooden bents, but rather 4 huge metal towers instead! Below is the original concept for Goliath!
As we all know, that actually turned out to look like this!
So lets take a look at the Wildfire concept art...

I'm not going to lie, I am now incredibly excited to see how this structure actually turns out!

_koppen over on CoasterForce has said that crane operators in Sweeden are currently all on strike and with Kolmarden operating on a very tight schedule to get Wildfire open on time this is very likely to cause delays to opening - they can't really do anything without cranes!

Not necessarily. That's a tower crane. You can't just raise or lower them like a mobile crane. They can take a number of days to set up and disassemble so If there were a break in construction, you would be much more likely to leave it there than to waste working days taking it down and putting it back up again for no reason.

Wow, that looks stunning. You can't beat the look of a woodie.
Wish AT would the genitals to build a mammoth woodie like this, but it will never happen!

Nope, we have to be grateful for our miniscule 800m, 45 second family woodie

Kolmarden also confirmed last week that they are still on target for a June 18th lauch date with measures being taken to catch up following the strike.

Well, they are a zoo. I imagine the strikers have been given a complimentary tour of the lion house, along with a brief description about how efficient the wild pigs are at chewing through bone
