Nemesis: Sub-Terra

The phalanx will need to make some sort of announcement to respond to the leaked footage. So I wonder if they will respond by showing off the new track as seen in the car park.
Inviting you to come inside and see the track undergoing testing. In nemesis subterra. The track isn’t ready for install so keep it nice and fresh inside sub terra

The ride should be themed to B&M getting bought out by the Phallas and upselling Alton Towers the new track, and you have to rescue John Wardley from underground captivity where he's being forced to write the sequel to his Amazon book.

Having looked through a few old videos (although quality is generally rubbish), the audio playing the end of the ride in the past few days is not new, and was there when Sub-Terra was open. However I guess with so much going on it’s hard to tell.

I do think the lifts and the bits after the lifts also play difference announcements to what plays in the shipping container

For the record, I don’t believe the information I’m about to put as there’s nothing at all to prove it. However it’s something possibly related to this so will just post it anyway. Multiple staff members have given the date of May 19th for this, the day before Mardi Gras starts. Hope it’s true though as I’m visiting on the 21st😂

I'll be at 17.+18. I'm daring them open one day after my visit. I'll present my best german insults to the staff. (I won't I'm kidding)

I have it on good authority the ride will open within the next 10 days. My employer has just finished commissioning on the job and a member of the site team has been told now it's just days. Apparently waiting for final h&s certificates.

Will probably be shot down but as you will note earlier in the thread I have mentioned work links before.

I remember you mentioning months ago about lighting or something if I remember correctly? Hopefully you’ve been told correct and it is just days away! I won’t shoot you down, I actually believe what you’re saying

It’s always risky suggesting dates for an opening even if you have good sources. A long time ago after the Smiler crash a lot of good sources claimed the ride was reopening on a certain date because the park was definitely planning to open it on a certain date. A lot of good posters forwarded on the info and then it didn’t happen.

It wasn’t because the information was wrong, it was that the plans actually changed.

So all your sources may be spot on with the current plan but I wouldn’t advise anyone book a trip based on these rumours as something may come up which delays things, the park will announce the opening when they are confident of the opening (unless they think it suits them not to for marketing/ operational reasons).

I'm totally prepared to be wrong. So much could still happen as @Dave has said.

Equally its damn obvious the ride is opening soon, so I'm merely just relaying what we already know.

@Danscott22 yes spot on with the industry. Obviously I can't go into company names etc as that could get me in the deep brown sticky stuff.

Would you advise anyone to book a trip solely on the basis of Sub-Terra?

If you're solely going for Sub Terra, then no. If the ride is awaiting final sign off - there's a possibility of a delay, if the ride has no official announcement - there's a possibility of a delay.

Until you see an official announcement, I wouldn't go planning a trip. Even with that, there's still a potential for delays or issues on opening day, but at least the risk for it not being open for you is reduced.

I think his question was whether the ride itself would merit a trip based solely on riding it rather than whether it would be wise to gamble on its opening date.

You're correct Josh and it was also cynically sarcastic...lowest form of wit and all that. The replies are useful to others though as it'd be risky to plan to go before a date is announced. Let's just hope it's not announced as technical rehearsals after X date...
