This is really good theming for a park which usually is not renowned for it! I hope this gives Merlin a good kick up the backside when smaller parks are investing more into good theming.

ThemeParkCollective have posted some photos of the log flume being filled with water, on facebook with some info about it.

https://www.facebook.com/ThemeParkCollective?hc_location=streamOakwood Theme Park’s new £4m attraction is set to open on time next month – thanks to the help of Narberth Fire Station.
A crew from the station were on hand to assist the Pembrokeshire park’s mammoth operation to fill their new pirate-themed log flume ride with 175,000 litres of water.
The new ride, which features a giant sculpted skull with visitors emerging in a cascade of water from one of the eye-sockets, is the centrepiece of the massive new development.
The new area which occupies over three acres in total – the equivalent of 14 Olympic-size swimming pools - also features a junior coaster, a flying experience, a pirate-themed galleon and a London Taxi ride featuring iconic sights including Big Ben, the Tower of London and Nelson’s Column.

Trixico said:Was there ever any confirmation about whether this was the log flume from Camelot?
It looks very similar from the photo's (albeit a bit cleaner)
EDIT: Wikipedia's saying it is, but I'm never sure if I should trust that...
As far as I know it is the old one from Camelot

This doesn't seem to have been posted yet:
Sounds brilliant! Hope it works well for them, must say I'm very temped to take a trip there in the summer to have a look, and it would be good to get back on Megafobia and Speed.

Oakwood said:OAKWOOD REVEALS MAGICAL THEME
OF NEW £4M ATTRACTION
After months of secrecy, Oakwood Theme Park has finally revealed the name of its new £4m family-themed attraction which is set to open later this month.
The new area which occupies over three acres in total – the equivalent of 14 Olympic swimming pools - will be called ‘Neverland’ and is themed around the world-famous ‘Peter Pan’ story by author J M Barrie.
Among the new rides are ‘Skull Rock’ pirate log flume, complete with 12-metre-tall sculpted skull, the ‘Lost Boys Adventure’, ‘Neverland Chase’, ‘Tink’s Flying School’, ‘Crocodile Coaster’, ‘Jolly Roger’ mini galleon. ‘Hook’s House of Havoc’ soft play and the ‘Sights of London’ taxi ride featuring Big Ben, the Tower of London and Nelson’s Column.
There is also ‘Journey to Neverland’ an interactive walkthrough area which takes visitors in to the Darling family home and above the streets of London before arriving in ‘Neverland’ itself.
Other areas are themed as London parks and there is also a kids’ ‘Aerodrome’ ride as well as food and retail outlets.
Oakwood Theme Park’s Dominic Jones said: “It’s been tough to keep the name and theme of the new area secret for so long but we really wanted it to be a surprise.
“What better inspiration for a theme park could there be than Peter Pan - ‘the boy who would not grow up’?
“We’re on track to be able to open ‘Neverland’ to visitors later this month and we can’t wait to see their reactions. This is by far the biggest investment at Oakwood in recent times and it will completely transform and add significantly to the visitor experience.
“We have been fortunate to work with the top theming companies and designers in Europe and everyone here is delighted with the results of all their hard work,” he added.

The level of theming is fantastic, especially for a little park like Oakwood. I'm going to go as far to say that it's the best theming to be created in the UK for this season (at the very least). We really don't see this level of theming too often so it's quite refreshing!
Great choice for an IP too as it's not horribly tacky which only appeals to kids that would unsurprisingly be forgotten only a few years after!
I've never visited Oakwood but I think I might give it a try this season!

"The Neverland buildings are now nearly complete. Some really great attention to detail seen here."

"Neverland's new logo has recently been released. Keep checking the Developer's Diary for more updates both from the development site and of all our new marketing."

"Some finishing touches are now being made to Neverland's grand entrance area with new gates and greenery."
The quality and professionalism of this development has really astounded me! Hopefully they can build on this and make this area even better year-on-year!
