Indeed. Rita was a bit of a bizarre investment anyway. Like a stop gap while they faffed with future plans and tried to distract from the imminent Corkscrew removal.

Rita was built in the way that it was because Charterhouse were looking to exit (and subsequently did at almost exactly the same time as Rita opened). There was virtually no forward planning at that time - DIC entered and did next to nothing.

I heard from totally unofficial sauces, that Ripsaw is being rebuilt in the carpark and will be open just for use by hotel guests

I think there's a good chance it will be sold actually, seen as though towers will have no use for it.

I can't believe there's been 5 pages of speculation after this:

Ripsaw is not being sold.

It has been removed and will never operate at Alton Towers again.

Do not kid yourself or believe otherwise.

Still no one listens.
