Scarefest 2014

Pretty sure the gardens are closed at ScareFest due to the lack of lighting, unless you mean Her Ladyship's, which will have the maze queue lines in anyway.

Nah a section of the gardens with enough lighting as they've done with the outside parts of scarerooms in the less few years

Whilst the gardens close at dusk due to lighting issues - it would definitely be an interesting twist for some of the scare rooms 'story' to take place in there in a small (obviously) controlled and lit environment.

Was just thinking that if they stay in one place are they go out somewhere on park until the sanctuary and TOTT finish then go into the ruins

Do Sanctuary (if it comes back this year) and ToTT stay open later than park close?

So queues close at 9, just like the rest of the park? Don't know why I had a thought that it stayed open 'til 11:00. Could be getting confused with another park.

I miss the 11pm closures. Standing on a field in the dark waiting for a maze, hearing the loud screams and cries in the distance, followed by moments of silence and just the sound of the wind was quite an experience.

Sadly you get no where near the same effect in the theme park and feel like you're queuing for any other ride/attraction.

I am going to find out more about this tomorrow as Towers called me Friday (Assuming related to this as I'm on the mailing list unless I have done something naughty...) So will obtain a lot more information.

The scarerooms last year were a lot more story based from other years (from what I could gather, as I have never done them), with a bit taking place outside. So I bet the new rooms will also be story led and it wouldn't surprise me if they use a part of the gardens for some of the night, I imagine the gardens will be quite scary in the dark.

Brilliant hopefully a bit more information to see whether it's worth £280

Don't know how much I will get. Like I said they called Friday and left a voicemail to call back with no context about what it was for but I can only assume its for this

Sorry for the double post but found out a little bit more for you all.

Of course we know the standard information such as the package info but have a little bit more info in regards to them:

So as we know there is no room in the hotel anymore and it will be a "camping style" experience in dorm rooms (as we know), this means that you will have a lot of home comforts taken away from you, There is a toilet, which you will be escorted too, however no shower facilities. The experience goes live to the general public today and runs from the 24th - 1st November and I asked about removing the theme park tickets as we have Annual Passes and was told there is nothing at the moment to take out tickets however there has been a lot of people complaining about the same issue and this has been passed on to management who may in the future decide to take out the tickets and offer an AP package but there is nothing as of yet.

This means that you can either book now and pay for two tickets you no longer need or hold of in case an annual pass discount become available but bare in mind the availability.

In terms of spaces, plenty on each night but obviously Halloween is selling the fastest.

I know I repeated some information but it sort of pads out the bare bones information given so far, we will have to wait and see...

Brilliant cheers for that information hopefully it's worth the money

This looks quite an experience!

It's mid August, surely the ScareFest line up announcement isn't all that far away!

There is a toilet in the ruins, just inside the entrance to the archives which is opposite the exit of The Sanctuary. It's possible they will use that.

Ah right that makes sense I take it's used for actor toilets as well

I have to say, I'm glad I did the scare rooms last year! I'm sure it will be a brilliant experience but I'm a bit past 'roughing it' now...;)
