2019 is certainly going to be an interesting year then... After spending an hour of your limited time at the park going through the carbon copy of an attraction that any visitor with a merlin has already done new dungeons (and paying to do so), you can walk a mile through a muddy field to sleep in a shed (which you are also paying for). Who actually thought any of this was a good idea?
Although, I have to say the most disappointing thing about this is that it actually had potential. Alton towers has a lot of history, a lot of which fits in with the theme of the dungeons. I know we already have a ride that is themed around the history/legend of the park, but something about the park and the surrounding areas could be interesting.
Instead though, it will be an unthemed (or "minimalistic theming" as towers prefer ) temporary copy of all the other dungeons that this time next year, will be too expensive to keep open and will just sit there, looking even worse that it does now.
Just please tell me they're not going to repaint the building. This is already looking like the worst addition to the park in a long time, and nothing will complete that more than the alton towers dungeons being in a purple/orange building with oompa loompas in the windows...
