Looks like today's the day then, going by all the talk on TT forum and elsewhere. Before 1pm is the new rumour.

I hope some videos pop up once it starts going round. I wanna see it dual!

EDIT: TPW update confirms it is dualling. Sweet

Sorry to sound like a mod here, but for when it does open, remember that this is a spoiler free topic! Some of us don't want to know certain things such as indoor effects etc until we get to go on ourselves!

In other news, The Smiler seems to be permanently on ridetimes.co.uk now!

Turns out the answer to this was no, he didn't! ;)
 
Ridetimes.co.uk is now stating the ride's queue time is 180 minutes.
EDIT: Now realised this was being discussed in chat..

Nice to see the smiler open. So Who going to stick a sign on it say "As seen on Watchdog" :D

but Th13teen is closed, I wonder if they got a sign up saying "feeling sad that Th13teen is not open? why not get a smile back with a ride on the smiler, open now"
 
Bloody hell, they finally got the damn thing open...now will it gain good reviews I wonder? :S

Oh well, at least they got it opened in May...just... ;)
