Thorpe Park: General Discussion

It's a great shame to see the UK's most iconic Flume rides meet the bulldozer, assuming its highly imminent Thorpe just haven't plucked the courage yet to confirm Loggers is not returning.

The UK has lost no fewer than five log flumes since 2005 and as a result has not built any new ones since. As a result Storm Force,
Pirate Falls and Dragon Falls are now the only major flumes operating in the UK, alongside the one at Great Yarmouth at a push.

Whilst flumes seem to be a dying breed these days, parks like Phantasialand have shown us with rides like Chiapas that modern variants of Flumes can still be popular attractions amongst being spectacular experiences too.

I'm most looking forward to some kind of announcement with these kids rides XD

They will link it to the Ghost Train some how!

"New for 2017, Two new kids rides available, especially useful after you wet your pants on DBGTROTD"

OR

"New for 2017, for those too scared to ride DBGTROTD, two new kids rides!"

And a video of Derron Brown on the Rockin' Tug ;)
