Thorpe Park: General Discussion

I've got an idea; could it be the return of the Thorpe Park Rangers? As it is the 40th anniversary season, after all; they might want to celebrate a key part of their history!
 
This should be good for the park. Roaming actors usually provide some good entertainment when walking around and it's something that will enhance guests days out.
 
I bet it’s some random IP, meet and greet type thing which will be rather low budget and uneventful.

No idea what the IP will be, pick anything that’s slightly past it and it’s probably that

It's too recent.

It's probably just staff to walk around and ask you how your day is going and be totally unable to cope other than to stand there with a Grayling style smile when you reply "pretty crap actually, only been on one ride been stuck in queues for the rest of the day and now I find the park is closing in 20 minutes at 4pm".

Management should spend five minutes in the local Tesco or co, then they'd realise people don't want interaction, they just want their shit as quick as possible and in this case it means efficiently run coasters not poor minimum wage teenagers standing at the entrance of rides trying to strike up a "how is your days going?" conversation as you enter the queue line.

When Chessie went through a real push of this (after I worked there fortunately), I had some god awful experiences with this... I know I bring out the Fury "flap your wings like a dragon or we won't dispatch" story lots, but it was by far one of the worst things I've ever had the personal privilege of enduring...

Story of Merlin's life. Too busy flapping about with rubbish, than bother sorting the core issues.
