I have never been convinced by the TLC fuss.
It is all routine maintainance...stuff that they should have been doing anyway.
They let things slide.
They are very slowly catching up.
Celebrate?
No...just "About bloody time".
Electric entrance shutters instead of manual ones.
Party.
I don't see it as "celebrating" they are just putting some pictures on Twitter. If it was a big overblown slideshow on the main AT Twitter saying look at all the cool stuff we have new for 2017! Then I think its disproportionate. But just someone with a passion for showing off their work, why shouldn't they share it with us?

Anyone who can't see that the TLC FB and Twitter accouts merely exist to show enthusiasts that they are trying to do things that they have not done in the past is blind. Yes it is stuff that should be done anyway but the fact is that it has not been, well not on this scale. Showing it off is just a small way to try and appease us.

I understand that, but I do think it can be only be a positive when you consider the alternative is it not getting done.

All this work on Towers Street then in two years time they demolish the lot, move the entrance to Duel and turn all Towers Street into CBeebies.
CBeebies for as far as the eye can see

Alton Towers have said in a tweet what some of the updates to Hex are.
So the question I want to know is, What would Hex smell of?@AltonTowers wrote:
Hex has had new flooring, new tv's, a new sound system, new lightening and scented boxes to name a few.

Don't be daft, they use leccy, and that costs money. It'll be Magic Trees (nicked from minicabs) hung from the scaffolding.I bet they have just brought some of them plug in air fresheners ! mmm jasmin and wild orchid![]()

You can often smell 'magic trees' when you're at Towers
Generally in the queuelines
Not another Merlin cannabis farm discovered?!

Well, this would explain the renaming of Transylvania to Wild Woods at Chessington then.

It's the stench of mediocrity.I've always loved the smell in Th13teen's crypt. I don't know how I would describe it though?

Apparently Primark's number 23 candle smells somewhat like Th13teen's crypt. Don't quote me on it thoughI've always loved the smell in Th13teen's crypt. I don't know how I would describe it though?
