TowersStreet Progress Discussion
Craig said:It's very very much work in progress at the moment, we just wanted to get a bit of purple in to match with the main site. With the logo competition going on, we will have more of an idea on colour schemes once the winner has been chosen.

I actually really like the purple(ness) of the place - it reminds me of the good old days of Alton Towers when they used to have purple EVERYTHING!
As much as I like blue colour schemes, I would be happy to stick with this one - it's a bit different! 8)

When starting a new topic, you now have the option to give it an iconNick said:Why do some topics have a thumb up or thumb down next to it? I'm confused by what it means.

The purple looks great! I was just looking at the homepage with the 'welcome to towersstreet.com'. It could make a nice temporary banner at the top of the forum pages whilst all the logo designs are flowing in maybe?
It's all looking great, well done Team TS!

Purple ftw tbh! For once the site matches my signature and avatar
I think the purple scheme is lovely!
I do agree however that a greater contrast between the individual posts and background is needed and I'm sure you guys will tweek and perfect it soon enough
Just a thought, wouldn't it be better to get new names for our sub-forums so that we can distinguish ourselves?

I like how you have a bizarrely disproportionate number of thanks for that post because of people checking out if what you said is true.
Cunning!
You might also notice that our news section is now live!

Haha for a moment I thought I had made a valued post
Since I suggested earlier that we possibly should rename some of our subforums I've had a little think and something like Coffee Baar to replace corner coffee might be good?
I was also going to suggest replacing the Tavern with Dragon Bar but ttf has done that so I guess the Tavern is ours!

That'll be because Traffic Boost hasn't been introduced yet. I'm sure that when it is it will have a name appropriate to Tower Street's most famous tradition.
