Trip Planning 2023/24: Information, advice and questions!

Thanks all re economy rooms; I assumed they were all ‘economy’ due to noise, so interesting to hear bell rock is due to wall view, that’s actually quite tempting for us over noise with the young kids!

Are there any other economy rooms other than Colosseo and Bell Rock? We stayed in Bell Rock and Alcazar and we actually preferred the cluster of three older hotels, although they were all fantastic overall.
 
No, there are no other eco rooms. The regular price in El Andaluz and Castillo is lower than in the other hotels, and there is the option of 20% reduction at certain times in low season. And if you book several nights in row you get a bit of long stay reduction.
 
I am looking to visit EP for the first time in January and was wondering what the ride availability is like, Will Voltron and Silver star be open or we looking at indoor/dark rides only?
 
Silver Star should be open if temperatures are at least about 4 Celsius. For Voltron it is the first winter, so nobody knows, but I would expect that they try to have it running, too.
 
Can anyone advise on the likely price comparison between:

1. Half price family of four silver annual pass; and

2. 14 days access to the park when added to a 14 night resort stay during the booking process.

I’m planning a bit of a mega EP trip next summer, including plenty of resort pool days which we loved, Tripsdrill and Holiday Park, probably other stuff too, and it would be soooo much better for us if we could dip in and out of the park as we choose, without feeling like “today is a park day”, “today is a pool day”, so I’m thinking of going the annual pass route..

I understand silver is the way to go if you’re always staying in the resort hotels (we would be) but I’d only get two holidays out of it in total - summer 2025 and a slightly earlier summer 2026 (hence half the price to be considered above)

However if 14 days access when booking is about the same price or maybe cheaper than half the annual pass then might as well do that and our next summer holiday isn’t tied down.

Perhaps it’s way cheaper as booked with a long hotel stay; in that case it makes my mega plan way more sellable to the missus.

So any idea what the system would ask for when booking the holiday for next summer?
