When your 37, and declare a midlife crisis because your child is turning 18 this year. You remember the days before social media, smart phones etc. And you cough/laugh/sneeze or parp without wetting yourself.

Ha, I knew I was old tonight when I couldn't throw a stick high enough to dislodge my plane from the tree it landed, err, crashed into.

Gonna have to go and buy a slingshot tomorrow to get it down.

Your old when you remember the ‘good old days’ at AT.

And when you have to click your joints back in to place when you wake up!

A morning stretch sounds like 10 people doing rapid fire on a range. :D

The good thing is we have a good age range here.

You’ve got one year on me. There is someone on here old and grey enough to remember The Virginia Reel at BPB (it closed when I was 3 and you were 2).

That makes me feel ancient. There's one at joyland. Sadly as much fun as it looks it's kinda the original spinning mouse. Perhaps not as fast though

At least I don't puke on other people's shoes.
A lesson for those early middle agers before they enter old age.
Your muscles don't wear out as quickly as your ligaments and tendons, so you can easily damage your tendons by using your muscles fully as you age.
Last week I messed up my arm ligaments doing some tricky digging.
So the next day I spent a lot of time doing light weeding, and messed up my finger tendons instead.
Had to spend two afternoons on the Beach to rest my aching arms.
    Shame.

I'm not sure about that making you feel old, more like embarrassed to be British.

I remember us getting a trimphone and feeling all space age.
And then they came out with flipping buttons.
    Red hot tech.

    Edit...sorry, rude word edit.
Mistaking corner coffee for courtyard tavern, again.

Lower back pain. When it really hurts to walk, stand, sit or actually do anything...

So what caused it? Moving heavy furniture? Lifting weights at the gym? A dozen goes on Furious Baco? No... just sitting in a chair

    Welcome to the backache club.
Could I suggest the Grand National for a respite cure.
    Works for me...sometimes.
Ibuprofen and paracetamol with meals works best.

Strong drugs work well too, I often nick my wife's.
Sitting on the sofa or chair usually does mine in too, although recently it's been my knees telling me off most.

I've spent most of the week working my way through the hundreds of hours of music from last week's Tomorrowland festival...

.. When the DJ refers to a track that's only about five years old as "old school", you know the crowd is too bloody young.

When there is a show on tv and they use dial up to get on the internet and one of the kids ask what that sound is.
