Not the riders feet, but the staff who deliver poor operations during the day and are more than rapid at leaving to get home just before ride close.

The staff at PortAventura work quickly all the time, there just aren't enough of them and too many Express passes sold which slows things down. That's not the staff's fault.
Sorry to turn a joke into a serious point but it peeves me to hear criticism of PortAventura's staff, it's the only park where I've seen staff so run off their feet that they literally RUN up and down ride platforms.

I somehow feel you'd rapidly change your tune had you been standing for over half an hour in the small queue for Volpaiute, with it dispatching on average once per 10 minutes, with the staff visibly standing around waiting on occasions for no apparent reason. And yes, that did happen only a month ago.

On the larger attractions such as Shambhala and Dragon Khan staff do tend to run around due to lack of numbers. But I do have to agree with the others and say on some of the flat rides, there is no urgency at all.

At no point on my visit did I encounter any member of staff other than on Shambhala showing any urgency, including the major coasters. Even the single host on Khan looked like he'd lost the will to live and was doing it at his own pace rather than trying his best to make the best out of the dire situation of two members of staff on a major B&M coaster.
I literally cannot recall an occasion visiting a UK park where operational standards have been that dismal, and yet we consider ourselves so hard done by. It's going to be exceedingly difficult to not draw comparisons to PA on any visit to a future park should operations be sub-standard for what is required.

I do agree that PA's standard of operations is very poor but I honestly think that this is down to staff numbers and excess fastrack slowing down the loading process.
The staff on the coasters always seem to work quickly with a sense of urgency. I see the single staff member on Khan often getting their checks done quicker than the army of people you often find on coasters at other parks.
Flat rides I don't really know to be honest, but even at busy periods I rarely see long queues for the flats, but I'm sure that people on here can't be lying. And neither am I when I say how quick PA staff are on the coasters, much quicker and more efficient than at the other Spanish parks anyway.

Volpaiute always has taken 10 minutes to load, every time I go to Port Aventura. It's a painful wait every time. Can only presume they're planning to put giant logos on the sides...
I wish they'd done something special with the layout - it always seems such a waste to throw away so much speed once down from the top hat, especially looking at the size of the pull-out. Even if it was one of Intamin's new super-giant loops they've started installing it could only add to the experience (imagine the sustained floater hangtime!).

Probably the worst layout of these I've seen.
Aren't they tacking on some drop/launch towers to this though as well?
Maybe that's why it looks like the child of Frankenstein and a Shipping Port.

The drop tower plans changed, they're now building 2 seperate S&S towers.
The idea of a HUGE logo or something as mentioned then may make sense.
Somehow I don't think Ferrari would appreciate Leek Signs shoving a vinyl up.
