Kennywood: 2019 S&S Coaster - Steel Curtain

Just come across of this photo showing some huge supports over a bridge:

'Wow' is my initial reaction!

They are some fine looking trains.

Always respect a park that builds multi inversion coasters without OTSR's.

It's coming together pretty quick despite the balls ups, I think it will be open a lot sooner than expected. I'll be there in August so should be OK.

Looks like there are seat belts too, for extra reassurance.

Haha.

Visited on Monday, still track and supports on the ground. Plus the whole Steelers Country area looked nowhere near ready.

Steel Curtain is certainly an impressive structure though, and Kennywood is a fantastic park!

Kennywood have confirmed they have one final inversion to install until Steel Curtain's completion, accompanied by this image:

I have now come to accept that it will be a structure to behold when visiting next month rather than actually being able to ride it. :tearsofjoy:

Hmmm, if they get a move on with testing and it doesn't rip itself to pieces then you still have a chance! They could well soft open it.
