Growth of 0.3% is a decline not actual growth. Zero hour contracts account for a lot of the "improved employment" figures

Oh and while on this subject, a country this size can at this moment borrow money at a rate of -0.25%.....yes you read that right, we would recive more money for borrowing money. Even if our credit rating is reduced....and I would like to stress the rating of the uk was AAA+ 10 years ago, but even of we get downgraded to AA the interest rate rises to about 0.00%....never a better time to borrow free money to invest in a change

How can that work? Is there an article or something explaining national borrowing so I can read into that?

Google it. It's a real thing I promise. Its basciclly the world banks interest rates on lending to lenders, it's to encourage growth and lending. It's how high street banks can make big money yet seem to offer low rates. There was a programme about it the other week as well tho I cant remember the name of it. If I find a link I'll post

How to Vote.

It's as simple as... ABC

Anybody But Conservatives o_O

Personally, I don't think we can stop climate change. Just look at a report out yesterday about the sale of SUVs. On the one hand you have the parents worried about their kids growing up, yet it's mostly parents who drive these SUVs to take their kids to school! Our local school this morning was full of Land Rovers dropping off their kids.

Plus, then you have China, the USA, India, seriously, what's the point if these biggest polluters are not going to do anything?
I've just got back so I've not read the future posts. But this post is exactly why we need a party which can reduce our impact on the environment. Individual change can only go so far, governments need to take action and put incentives in place for eco-friendly living.

The point on China is such a cliche and it's rubbish. We exported manufacturing (and as a result, pollution) to China. And despite this, their GHG emissions per capita are lower than the US! They're also already taking some action, like building a national high speed rail network, rapidly constructing metro systems and electric buses.

88% of all conservative ads during this election campaign have contained incorrect information. The claims had all been marked as not correct or not entirely correct by independent fact checkers (including BBC reality check).

For labour, there were no misleading ads to be found.

Awful awful stuff.

You must have a strange definition of "rigging".

If people are using betting odds to decide who to vote for, more fool them. Are you honestly suggesting Conservative / Brexit Party voters would change to Labour because the odds at Ladbrokes have reduced?

For real? It's the worst polluting country on the planet!!!

The next couple of days could really become incredibly interesting! The opinion polls vary in terms of the degree by which the Conservatives lead; the lowest polls give them only a 6-7 point lead over Labour, which is apparently firm hung parliament territory!

As has been said before, however, opinion polls are not always accurate; even on the day of the election, the 2017 opinion polls still gave Theresa May's Conservatives a sizeable lead, and she ended up losing her majority. The exit poll is what we need to look out for; those tend to be accurate within a degree of about 5-10 seats or so for the leading party.

Look at who's running the polls. The Evening Standard were stating the conservatives were on for a record win but the editor of the paper is one George Osbourne...

Interestingly, George Osborne is actually encouraging people to vote for the Liberal Democrats in this election!
