Scarefest 2017

Would be good if they utilized Haunted Hollow again for Scarefest . Although I believe that was scrapped after some delightful traveler folk decided to punch one of the actors the first, and only year they did it.
 
Maybe with forbidden valley scare zone being removed the scare maze may be in that area of the park but I was also hoping it would be themed to sw8 to give us some clues.

When Towers filed the wicker man thing could that have been for Scarefest maybe?
 
Update:

Lots more has been put in place since I last visited last week, it looks more complete. There also seems to be Skin Snatchers style theming around so could it be exiting / entering here this year?

Also, something not neccesarily Scarefest related but... The fountains working again! Although currently giving the grass a good watering!

Hey guys, i was at towers yesterday and i would just like to point out that i saw a couple of guys in the NST site, one was a staff member and one was a "important" looking guy with a clipboard. Maybe the 4th maze will incorporate NST? Or maybe a NST special reopening for the scarefest season? Send your theorys...

maybe it was someone looking round pricing it up as they are going to sell it :)
 
The drop towers could be useful to someone else looking to buy.

I personally hope it reopens at some point in the future, even if this is doubtful. Towers must have some hope due to it being on the website two (SBNO) years in a row.
 
Think they may open it for scarefest and gauge the visit amount on it - Think it can do well with the right advertisement on it
 
What do you think the 4th maze will realistically be vs what are you hoping for?

What I hope it will be - A 2 pumpkin (probably outdoor) maze featuring the scarefest characters, just to fill that gap in the event!

What I think it will be -

Well ideally I would like something along the lines of Black Forest Haunt that used to be at Cheshington back in (I think) 2008 or 9, something to provide a scare for people too young/scared for House of Monsters!

Ooh, interesting. I see it's got similar rune-like symbols on the graphics to what are on the most recent SW8 graphics. No, wait, they're exactly the same. As with The Sanctuary linking to The Smiler, it looks like The Welcoming: Be Chosen will thematically link to SW8, perhaps giving us a further insight into what the theme could be.
 
Is it just me or are the prices for the scare mazes are a bit confusing?

3 x scare maze ticket £20
3 x scare maze ticket plus "The Welcoming; Be Chosen" only £8 :openmouth: ????? This is cheaper than the first option and you get 4 mazes? or is it just for the 4th maze or is the price incorrect?
3 x scare mazes tickets for annual pass holders £16
