It was posted in response to whether Galactia would have a shop.

If you look at the planning docs it's supposed to have a roof canopy and the green band should continue from the existing building but it's still work in progress.
 
Just looked at the planning application myself, as said the lack of windows is the new shop is a real let down! You'd think they'd at least put a window overlooking the swooping track out of the tunnel, be brilliant to see that just after riding!

Ah well, we'll just have to hope towers can pull of a decent interior to make up for it I guess!
 
So it seems they're following in The Smilers footsteps with a mobile game for this.



Also could the music in the video be the new score for the ride?
 
Hello - after a little more deeper searching (and finding out his surname), I think this is the guy who will voice the ride area and pre- preshow queue announcements before EVE takes over: https://m.soundcloud.com/mattiapace if this is him, then hopefully his voice will fit in with the theme.

In terms of the galactica game music, yes - it is the ride theme in that video.

As I predicted from the reveal video; the music in the background does sound like the new theme for Galactica. It really does sound like an IMAScore and reminds me a little of Helix's theme song.

No doubt, going to be in a very tiny minority here, clinging on to the class and simplistic chilled out original?

But regardless, don't like it.
 
I actually like it. If you download the mobile app, there is a longer version of it and there is one point where a female voice hums and I think it sounds pretty cool! :p
 
Yes - the game is available to download now if you search for it on the App Store.

The theme is very rich and definitely has that "IMA style" to it. I'm lead to believe that this game will be enhanced with codes and scannable content across the resort and especially in the galactic area too.

If I remember correctly there were a few vouchers for this, that and the other (not that exciting), some free theme park tickets, and free hotel stays (not sure if anyone won that though).
