"Come back later" is a good move on RideTimes, I know the material effect similar, but its a better choice of words.
I agree but they also need to make sure the signs around the park use the same wording. I imagine more guests look at the signs than on their phone.

Do they not? From research... It appears the new entrance signs and the queue time screens round the park are all fed from ridetimes.

I don't know, if they do then that's great :). I just recall one of my previous visits where I heard guests muttering that Nemesis was "broken today" when it was actually not open yet (staggered openings).

True. I think it's one of Merlin's few systems with any level of integration so I'm hoping that's not too far away if not delivered already.

In short as soon as hosts change the time/status on the iPad (running attractions.io connect) it changes at the entrance, on ridetimes.co.uk and the screens).

Mainly because merlin didn't built it in house they got a company who specialises in theme park apps to build it.

Was taking a look at the parking charges for Alton Towers to see if they have gone up like Thorpe (they havent....yet) and I noticed this on the express parking which I havent seen before..

Premium Merlin Annual Pass holders can upgrade to express parking for the discounted price of £10. This price is only available when purchasing Express Car Parking on the day.

Yeah, also if you have a Carer pass, you can get disabled rate, depends on who is in the box and what mood they are in (PMAP/VIP Passholders get a £6 discount on the Express Parking charge iirc).

Isn't it suppose to be blue badge only?

Why was it decided to put the hut in the plaza for express parking instead of using the one in the actual road?

Unless they have the barrier manned the whole day people will park for free

Hi, so I visited he park back in June where Spinball broke down while I was on the ride. We were offered a green priority pass for 1.2m rides. We didn’t use this pass as we didn’t realise that it included Wicker Man, so we brought it home. We are visiting in around two weeks again and I’m just wondering if we’re free to use this pass on a return date?
