I imagine it just isn’t an exhaustive list of the coasters that will be open and is reeling off some of the more important/popular ones rather than meaning that only those coasters will be open at night.

I wouldn’t read too deeply into it.

If they can keep the rides open for fireworks why not now?

As normal unless there is significant kickback they won’t change. Hopefully this is just badly worded, they aren’t even consistent across the website…

I think it's pretty telling how far trust in the park has been eroded that as a result of them not listing every coaster people just assumed that the rest must now be closing hours before the park does.

Given what ride availability has been like this year, it doesn't really matter what they do and don't list on that page anymore.

Based on the rate intamin accelerators are closing around the world I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the first of the coasters to go.

They will only get rid of spinball if they want something controversial from the planning people.

I bet no-one can even get close to 40 attractions that will be open at night. Hook-a-duck doesn't count.

CBeebies and WODW will probably be closed as well.
I count like 15..

They used to say they had 40 rides and attractions in 2002 and it was an over count then. They have dropped by at least 10 since then.

The rides and attractions page lists 42.

That includes Dungeons, Skyride and Hex though - which of course are closed.

That was a rumour circulating on various MAP Facebook groups, which was then taken here as fact, despite some evidence to the contrary.

Trust in the park has eroded so much that it doesn't matter what they say, no one will believe them.

Yeah, wasn't taking a lot of notice. Just remember seeing closure times of 5/6/7 mentioned and thought that it'll be closed by night-time IF that's the case.

The rides and attractions page lists 42.

That includes Dungeons, Skyride and Hex though - which of course are closed.

And Rapids too, which are about to close. Plus there are at least 3 other attractions that have historically always closed at dusk, not including the potential of all of CBeebies land closing early.

Can't believe they include the Towers on the list, they haven't been open (for free) to look around in years!
