2025: General Discussion

The app seems to have updated for next weeks buyout events. Forbidden Valley obviously not on the app as it’s closed, but there’s no Rapids, Thirteen or Hex either. Could be an early hint as to what won’t be available on the buyout days

Don't quite understand why GoPros aren't allowed. If anything, AT should be providing suitable body/helmet mounts. Much safer than a phone as you can't "interact" with a GoPro if it's on your head!

Have used a GoPro for karting, and they provide helmets with secure mounts. They even provide a free GoPro if you buy their over-priced SDHC card. Seems like AT are leaving money on the table!

It's not about safety, it's about providing an exclusive experience, not one which you can view for free online.
Good luck with that 😉 Someone will have a button cam, and then it becomes pointless. The track walk must be the worst bit of the experience IMHO - not quite like Stealth or BPB PMBO.

More than anything, if 1m people view it on Youtube - free advertising. Seeing every ride POV doesn't stop me wanting to pay money to experience it.

People still make videos (and plenty were made last year) of the VIP experiences, so Towers are still getting free advertising. Why waste money on mounts and additional equipment when you can get a few cheap phone lanyard holders on Amazon for the same result?

Besides, watching a video of someone arse going up steps for 10-15 minutes isn't exactly exciting viewing.

It also seems that get set go tree top adventure is also missing from the app. Could this mean that the work is happening to shorten the track ahead of the new season?

I do wish they would update the ride availability page, it still only lists last years ride closures. This is unfair to those buying tickets if there are planned closures that are not being announced.

Guests have definitely been told about Forbidden Valley, but I’m not sure if they’ve been told about anything else. Hadn’t noticed Get Set Go, but I assume that’ll be the reason why

There may be no updates for them to make yet.
