Right, but that's true of the drop and turnaround too. Some of the support work done to accommodate the new course is astonishing.Worth noting that it's a little more than a simple re-tracking this time - the new track follows a slightly different line than the original - they've had to design some slightly unusual connections to join up with the existing supports.
What they mean is it was the longest section to be replaced at once.Yeah, from the MCBR to the station brake run.
Not sure it’s really the biggest retracking to date, seeing as they retracked half of the thing already?
Since the turnaround. What they mean is it was the longest section to be replaced at once.
Interesting it's gone back to Nestle! Thanks for the info.
I am sure there will be a host of GoPro cretins talking to themselves, you'll know soon enough !Wonder if the Quality Street branding will have been installed in time for Monday?

Looking forward to "Quality Street Radio - Explained"
I suspect that's because Blackpool and Lancashire are back at school from tomorrow. So, Pleasure Beach hours are 11-5 this coming week, and 10-5 on Saturday/Sunday. Given that Alton is open 10-8, pigs have clearly flown (I never thought the day would come when Alton had the best hours in the UK not least being open 4 hours longer than BPB) - do we think or expect to see BPB to extend or are they taking it slowly this first few weeks?
I am keen to visit but 11-5 just isn't worth the drive - much like I would never bother with a 10-4 at Alton.
Do you think an alternative meeting place for insurance purposes may be in order...Velvet at 2 the second option?!
Yeah if it doesn't arrive soon you should drop them an email.Ha! I’m sure it will be ok on the day. I have phone screenshots that prove I booked my E-ticket, just need to get in then sort it at Guest Services I suppose. Might email them later anyway
