So, Valhalla, a show, and Valhalla, a ride, trending on the same day...The word Valhalla isn't trending because BPB are reopening their Valhalla, but the TV show Vikings: Valhalla has been renewed for Season 3...

Hey guys,
If they are still using the vacuum to get rid of the lake at the bottom of the boats, does this mean that this issue has not been addressed? The exterior is looking really swish, just miss the skulls on top of the flags!
I haven’t visited since what feels like forever, mainly because of waiting for this to return! So I’m thrilled to get back on the beast!

I am not sure if they can ever wholly solve that problem. It relies in part on the one way valves being free of debris, but realistically there is always something obstructing them, whether it be a poncho, park map etc.
Even if they are working, historically there was just too much water for them to deal with. The ride system operated in such a way that they didn't really stand a chance and then ... The vortex, cave waterfall and hammers chuck in even more.
I can't imagine that's all resolved, but let's see !

The mist effect does look really cool, kudos there!
This whole soft opening sometime after 7th April is rather hilarious. I am guessing they felt pressured in to announcing something sooner rather than later, know it won't be ready before then and are just hoping that there will be some days later in April that it can open for short periods of time. May we'll see a full opening in May if all goes well?

That’s tempting. I only live 40mins away but only visit once a year. If I had a pass id probably be there every weekend

Was it two years ago when they were selling them for £99? Big mistake of mine not getting one then.
Does anybody think they’re likely to get any cheaper?

Feels unlikely. Given the day ticket cost, £145 is still an inflation busting number.Does anybody think they’re likely to get any cheaper?

Last year they made the bizarre decision to stop selling season passes in April I think it was claiming that the allocation of them was “sold out” and they only started selling them again towards the end of the summer. With Pleasure Beach it seems like they are randomly making things up as they go along throughout the season, the season pass price can rise up and down somewhat for no apparent reason.

So we still have no official opening date, only that it will be after the 7th of April, which could mean September !!
Also Big Dipper is closed and is set to open later in the season ? How much later ? Will it be open by Easter ? May ? or closed until it's anniversary in August ?

Great booklet - fairly rare, put together to present a bit of a 'reset' when WGT took over from his dad.
