Well this is hilarious. It's pure buffoonery that more reasonable renewal prices weren't agreed on by the powers that be to begin with. I guess the backlash and fact that people have voted with their wallets and not renewed at £199 has sent them spiralling into panic. They've got egg on their faces now. Fair play that they've backtracked, but they must feel silly now for cranking the prices so much. This is all rather embarrassing for them, but if anyone did renew at £199, they are gonna be furious right now and understandably so. See you in the Gyro Swing queue.

The whole season pass pricing is an absolute marketing Trainwreck of Pleasurebeech own making. I'm not sure who is deciding prices and promotional offers but the strategy just seems to depend on whichever way the wind blows.
It will blow whichever way means they can keep the giant mine train shut all day.
If people have renewed for the £199 price, they should be able to cancel and renew at the lower price without penalty as they are within 14 days of starting/renewing a contract.but if anyone did renew at £199, they are gonna be furious right now and understandably so.
If you want law to quote Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 Section 264(1) with the 14 day period defined in Section 265(2) of the same Act.

As probably the only person in the world that renewed at £199, if you contact them with your order reference and mention you renewed for £199 and now have the £100 offer email, they will refund the difference. No need to quote any consumer rights or anything, I just asked nicely and they refunded the £99 difference.

Got my £100 pass renewal. An absolute no-brainer at that price. Remember if anyone wants it at this 24 hour price you only have a few hours left. My email was timed at 12:07 yesterday so get yours in before noon if you can

Do u think it was a marketing plan all along make it £199 then 2 weeks later offer a 50% discount but really your only saving £25 off last years renewal price.

Most marketing plans wouldn't kick off with "what's the best way to piss off, anger, upset and alienate out customers?". Then again, this is Mandy's Pleasure Beach.Do u think it was a marketing plan all along make it £199 then 2 weeks later offer a 50% discount but really your only saving £25 off last years renewal price.
Pretty happy with this prediction tbh.Sounds like the price is optimised for black friday/early season 'half price' offer to me.
Absolutely, of course they did! Nothing wrong with it either because now everyone feels as though they're being done a huge favour and there's additional motivation to get it done early dooors... everyone's a winner.Do u think it was a marketing plan all along make it £199 then 2 weeks later offer a 50% discount but really your only saving £25 off last years renewal price.

I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the plan, because I’m pretty sure they didn’t have a plan.

Has the scaffolding grown higher on Ice Blast?Well, I renewed for the £100 … I’m weak and that covers opening weekend plus one trip so it’ll be worth it.
I’m there today if anyone has any burning things they want me to check out
The more people that buy season passes, the higher the scaffolding goesHas the scaffolding grown higher on Ice Blast?
