A bit of friendly competition no doubt?

It’ll be interesting to see, if Wickerman changes the public perception of woodies, whether in the long run that will benefit BPB. Especially considering BPB will now have a modern coaster that can truly stand up to Alton’s other rides.

A lot of people seem to believe it's "fake wood". Painted metal or something daft like that. Presumably because wood is so unsafe that you'd never be allowed to build anything out of it! :p

Even Oakwood have gotten in on the act asking it's followers on Twitter who have ridden both to compare.

I'm hoping all the goodwill for wickerman and icon is a real watershed moment for all UK parks nationally.

Edit: it was attraction images who asked the question not Oakwood. Oops!

Full soundtrack now available to buy. I think The Notable Stranger has done an excellent job.:)

Definitely well worth a purchase, it's outstanding - the choir is just lush.

Hope this puts everyone's minds at rest regarding the soundtrack!
 
Not got through it all yet (there's loads!) but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far.

You can really hear the storyline within the soundtrack.
 
Oh. My poor laptop is already infected enough as it is! I'm sure it'll appear on other avenues, google/amazon, maybe even spotify?
 
I'm just listening to the previews on iTunes, and it is impressive to say the least! I assume that they will release a CD once the ride opens, at least I hope they do.

That looks identical to Helix's front car except it's gold rather than green. :D

Still looks cool, though!
