Looks so much better than it did when we went in April. Plopsa really should be commended on their theming, it is fantastic!

Are they doing all this work while the ride is open, or have they closed it for the time being?

 

[Rob]

I don't think the ride has been closed at all. However for the last few weeks the park has only really been open on weekends and the odd Thursday/Friday. So they've had some good time during the weeks to make progress. The park is open every day from this Saturday through to mid-September.

Ah, right.
Given how fast they seem to be cladding the building, you have to wonder whether delaying the opening till summer could have given them enough time to get it finished before opening?

Might even be that sort of thing were the ride opens later in the day when the park is open, like at Nigloland or Hansa Park...

Looks wonderful, good old Neverland eh? The glass face detail is my personal fave...

To say that in places it already looks like a completely different ride from when we were there is an understatemnet. There's so much detail in the theming!

Such an odd seeming theme for a Plopsa run park, with all the death slogans and stuff...

I'm glad they're still sticking with Holiday Park being an "all rounder" park. Had concerns when Plopsa took over that they'd dumb things down, and even with the new ride being quite blatantly thrill, I was unsure whether they'd follow it up with thrill based theming at the same quality as some of the family stuff. Great to be proved wrong though, it's looking great!

That theming is pretty damn amazing looking!

Takes what's a fairly average looking ride right up to the next level.

All this industrialist theming, and what they really need to improve the ride is a good old hacksaw to lop off those leg bars!

Another update from Holiday Park's Facebook page. Looks like the theming is now nearing completion:

Why is the graffiti in English? Surely it should be in German?

This honestly looks like a run down theme park so congratulations to Holiday Park for reaching this level of theming.

I still believe that it'll be one of the most depressing queuelines to queue in as it looks like the backstreets of Liverpool which is never good.

It looks great but I feel the white supports stand out to much and take away from the immersion

I like it how these small European parks open the rides and theme them after it will be interesting to see what towers do with air

But my main point is that it's a rather good ride from when I was on it in April
