Lightwater Valley

I see the lad is getting stick on Twitter for calling it unsafe. Nowt like an enthusiast witch-hunt. I thought he come across really well. Well until he said Wickerman is his favourite coaster 😂
Thinking maybe he just said that because he was on national news and wanted to name a coaster he thought people might have actually heard of?

People have different ideas of what 'unsafe' means in relation to a ride - if it had got a lot rougher in its last few years of operation then it could definitely be considered 'unsafe' in terms of an increased risk of neck and back injuries etc. But unsafe as in any more likely to derail and kill people - probably not.

I'd say 3 years of neglect would probably make it unsafe. Especially the wooded section
Well, sure - after 3 years being left to rot in the woods it's not going to be rideworthy - but I think he was referring to how it rode in its final operating years.

Remember kids are off school during this period so 9PM close who be great for families wanting to get more rides and value for money. Drayton are going all out with events this year which is great to see. Just need some news on that new coaster now....

Major investment from the Brighton Pier Group for the 2023 season! 🙄
The 'new' Alice's cars is just props from their Christmas event plonked on the vintage cars

I'm getting major late Camelot VIBES from Lightwater Valley. I'm not really seeing much investment here.
