I wouldn't call releasing the game an "exciting announcement". We know the game exists, and we know that it is coming out this week.

The game is being released this week, although I somehow doubt the exciting announcement is to do with this.

Worlds first reveal? Although I'd rather they keep that quiet until opening day.

The announcement may have nothing to do with the Smiler at all for we know. There's many possibilities of what they could be announcing.

I don't think they are going to reveal the world first at all if that interview I read about with JW is anything to go by.

I reckon they may announce an inversion record though? Too late for any other park to rectify that, and I'd imagine we will know soon enough anyway - may as well make a big fuss about it.

As has been said, the announcement could be anything, possibly something not even related to The Smiler. Towers just said it's an exciting announcement. There's a decent chance it could be Smiler related, but I wouldn't be totally certain.
