[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion

Since the day we heard that it'd be Gerst, I've been worried about the roughness of the coaster. I do however feel that this looks to be smoother than Saw ever did during testing so I'm confident that it should be ok.
The pacing is surprisingly good. I'm so far a little mixed about the dark section but that tunnel towards the end looks great! I like the 'Ha Ha Ha' wall decorations.
I'm probably just a bit glad that they have resisted from putting 'LOL'.

I think a small comment like 'there will be a few surprises' suggests small pieces of themeing or effects that aren't very marketable, but will add a magical factor to the ride. I think anyone speculating on a grand scale will be disappointed. It's inappropriate to be criticising these potential surprises before they have even been released on the grounds that they will be underwhelming, because they (whatever form 'they' may take) should be seen as something additional and bonus. The main selling feature and main 'secret' has always been the number of inversions. I am still looking forward to the 'surprises' Wardley is promising, but only in as much as I'm looking forward to the ride experience as a whole. I'm not expecting there to be anything that cannot be put in a press release, essentially.

The leaflet said "pre-show".
I said a while back, it could be in the station, just as you leave the station pre-ride as it were, or actually a pre-show like N:ST.
My bet though is still on somehow warping those walls with that projection stuff.
I do always add to this, I HATE mind bending stuff on rides, not what I ride them for, so it isn't like I am getting carried away and excited. Just putting pieces of a jigsaw together that have been slowly released.

This, and as we have seen flaps going into the building i'm expecting it to occur in the queue line, as well if not only.

Personally I can just see the pre-show being a sanctuary like tv monitor with Kelman almost briefing you tbh...

Hate to be the buzzkill but kinda hoping if there is a post-show or pre-show that it doesn't involve live actors or anything too freaky as I get scared s***less way too easily and I want to enjoy The Smiler!!

The industrial feel of the station interior definitely has an air of Oblivion to it, although I do think it needs a few more details.
