Is that the Saw fastrack queue?
Genuinely feel for those in the main queue. Getting an absolute shafting due to sheer greed.

Glad my judgment was right and we didn’t go today. Went Legoland instead and that wasn’t as bad as previous Fireworks nights
Here’s my message to Thorpe Park. Last Night was complete Carnage. Police everywhere. So many Fights breaking out due to ridiculous que timed and over capacity. Public arguing with staff. Que for complaints was getting longer and longer with so many people left furious. This isn’t a thempark it’s a joke. We struggled to even get food anyway or to sit. Fast Pass was pushing all ques lines through the roof. Fast past que was a hour & half. I never complain either but never managing to complete a scare maze (the reason we came) is a joke. Most rides closed at night.
Hi I’m Enquiring for a refund or a return ticket (However I’m not sure others from my group would ever return again) After the disaster of yesterday visit.
I would also like to make a formal complaint regarding our visit to Thorpe Park on Saturday October 27.
The complete day was ruined from start to end for the whole group due to EXCESSIVE QUEUEING TIMES. This was quite clear from the start this would be the running theme. To the point where we were all stood still with no where to sit and debated travelling 2 and a 1/2 back home!
While we expect your park to be busy during the Fright Night period, the service we received was despicable and our experience was an absolute farce due to your greed of letting too many customers in.
We had hoped to bring a bag with us but upon arrival, we were told we would have to wait over 45 minutes to bring in.
When in the park, we were only able to go on two rides during almost eight hours at the park having been forced to wait over 2.5 hours for one, despite the queue time saying 60 minutes.
Due to the shocking wait time, we had little option but to buy fast track tickets. However, we were then forced to wait another 90 minutes while queuing for fast track tickets. We selected fast track for one ride and one maze - however not all of the rides were open due to the weather, and none of your staff felt it was necessary to inform us.
By the time we had entered the fast track queue for the Walking Dead ride, we were then forced to wait 45 minutes because you had sold too many fast track tickets.
You had also advertised the rides and mazes to be open "late night". Somehow you failed to tell your customers these would all be closed at 9pm.
Besides the shambolic rides, your food and hygiene services are also a disgrace. Having been told there was over an hour waiting time for KFC and Burger King, we decided to go to your Burrito restaurant. However, none of us were able to eat the food as it was absolutely disgusting. One of our group has been suffering from sickness and diarrhoea since the visit.
The toilets available to customers are a disgrace and have clearly not been cleaned for days or months with urine all over the floors and walls.
Not to mention the utter rude and disrespectful behaviour of your staff. One of our group had to go to the car to get an extra layer of clothing due to the shocking waiting times, which was agreed with a member of staff, only for another to tell him he was not allowed back in.

My friend who came is a journalist and is writing a article on Merlin greed over customers. Quite clear on Thorpe Facebook page every customer is unhappy. A lot of people left after a hour. The contact page for the official website page is down. So many people will now never return. Good business.

What a mess. Complete joke of a theme park nowadays.
But you've played right into their hands by forking out for Fastrack there. That's why they will keep doing it.
If you pay the standard entry to Thorpe and nothing else - they don't value you as a customer. But when people pay the extra for Fastrack and still have bad time that's when you know they've *really* taken the p*ss.

It's an incredibly risky strategy. Was posted elsewhere that they were still selling fastrack for the coasters even though they were closed for “weather delay”
That sums the park up completely, profit profit profit.
Don't mug people off and they'll return.
Keep ripping people off and they will be put off visiting for years.

To be honest your right. We should have gone home. However been so excited for this event for months. I persuaded a group of 6 people to come. I didn’t want as organiser to let them down. the only plan I could think of in such a disaster of a day out. None of my friends will return to be honest.

We couldn’t believe they were doing this. None of the staff knew what was going on

Can I also add the new walking dead ride should be for kids? It’s literally a glorified ghost train at best. With a pointless long walk through tunnel with no surprises or Meaning? Instead leaving you queuing outside in the bitter cold.
Darren Brown ghost train also had no purpose coming off the train. Was something meant to happen? You walk through some dark corridors and look at some static scenery? Then get told to go back on the train? Everything felt rushed Virtual reality scenes was really good. However you end the ride with just waking off the train? Again is something missing? All just feel rushed. The concept is great. However again no ride is worth waiting over 2 hours in the bitter cold. By that point you can’t wait for the whole process to be over!

Dbgt does have an extra scene post train but it's being bypassed as actors are used elsewhereCan I also add the new walking dead ride should be for kids? So again we didn’t get the full experience. We all said the Darren Brown Ghost Train felt incomplete. So for customers who only come on Halloween. They will just be left with the worst impressions of the park. Never to return. Should be the opposite for the busiest time of year! Cut costs and over charge on every corner.

Visited Thorpe yesterday. Not a lot to say that hasn't already been mentioned by others, but I have some thoughts on the day. Sorry if the post is kind of long.
Firstly, Derren browns ghost train... by far the worst experience of this attraction so far. We waited outside at 12 since there wasn't much else to do anyway. We were told that there was going to be a "slight delay" in opening, and a member of staff came and told us that even if the ride opened, we still had an 80 minute queue. We were opposite the banana ride, which is three trains at most, I think she was trying to get rid of the queue. After the "slight delay" (45 minutes is not a slight delay) and 15 minute queue, we got on the ride. Then, after the preshow, a member of staff stood in front of us and said "in the next room, there is a Victorian train carriage suspended by chains"... Doesn't that kind of ruin the surprise?
As others have said, the missing final scene and broken headsets leaves the ride feeling incomplete, and honestly, boring. Also, when did the volume in the headsets get turned up so loud?
He mazes were hit or miss. On one hand, Blair witch, platform 15, and living nightmare were fantastic, though Blair witch was too short. I really like how in platform 15, there is an actor who follows you round the entire maze, just far enough away that you keep looking over your shoulder.
Deadcreek woods and do or die fall are both decent mazes. Both are enjoyable, but have thier flaws. Do or die is by far an improvement on sanctum from last year.
Vulcan peak, though, is a disaster. There is absolutely no redeeming features, with the only positive(?) being that it's amazing how the I'm a celebrity building can double as a post apocalypse, lost for centuries building with no effort, though that's not really a good thing. The storyline is confusing at seems to change every few minutes, and the preshow doesn't help (and why did they have to use the seats, that was just really unnecessary and uncomfortable?). The finale of the maze achieved absolutely nothing, other than giving me a painful static shock.
As already mentioned by others, operations were appalling, meaning I only managed six of the seven mazes, and only two rides (DBGT and rocky express). This extended to the car park, with an actual fight taking place at the barriers because someone didn't want to pay £15.
TL;DR: it says a lot that I enjoyed my day at Chessington more

Even tho I’m aware Facebook messenger are replying back with limited responses. As well as taking a long time to respond, but not properly. I’ve now taken up all my issues with the company directly too the complaint compartment and awaiting a call. Still pushing for a refund as none of us wish to return. The fact we couldn’t experience a scare maze or rides in the dark is just inexcusable. Was literally no point attending. Again 2 rides in 9 hours is beyond me.
However the journalist in our group, who has threatened to write a article. Has already received a phone call from the company. No doubt he be paid to keep quiet. I’m waiting for his reply so can push for the article to still go ahead. See picture below of message
