yes I think it's good that they at least say why it's closed rather than just 'closed' which could mean anything.They don't need to state anything.
They just say closed due to the wind.
There is nothing to interpret!
BTT: it's 47mph at 236ft I believe as others have said, not from ground level
I visited last year during a storm, and in the morning all rides were pretty much closed except for SAW, even when the winds weren't that noticeable from walking around ground level. Luckily got on Saw and within 5 minutes that also closed, leaving just TWD and a limping quantum open, but by that point even ground level winds were aggressive
