2015: 40th Anniversary

I'm 100% for Euromausi's new 4D film style and outfit.

Thanks to www.parkerlebnis.de we now know all of what is new at EP in 2015:
:)

We do?
...including Surprise attraction!

  • New attraction - great birthday surprise: In Greek area offers us a new attraction that is not yet known in detail.

  • Conversion and extension of Euro-Tower: What exactly expect, is currently unknown.

  • Whale Adventures - Redesign and Expansion: What is being done right here, is not yet known.
  • Transformation Columbus dinghy: How? This is not yet clear here.
Another highlight announcing the Europa-Park in the Park Plan 2015 is "Beautiful Europe".... What lies behind it just remains to be seen.

:p

I was hoping for an update to Historama as well. Would make sense, being the park's 40th. Still, can't complain about all that.

It will be interesting to see what "Beautiful Europe" is. I reckon it will be a park wide event/celebration. In each area of the park there could be stalls and decorations celebrating the best of that country. Sounds like something EP could and would do.

Or it could be something totally different!

:)

It says it's free for all visitors?

Does this mean basically you pay to get in, then the 24 hour thing is free, or that it is FREE?

SURELY this has to be an official meet?

I wonder how they will operate it? Presumably they will have to shut, clear everyone out, then re-open a few hours later the next day?

The thought of cresting Sylvia's lifthill as the sun comes up over the horizon... Arghhh. However sadly due to the circumstances with Sylvia, I don't think that will be an option!!

Therefore... I am entirely with @DiogoJ42 on this one!! WODAN! <3

Well I have to say Ive just mentally planned a trip! :D

Just to put this out there, I am beyond mentally planning. I'm going :D

Wodan running for 24 hours is far too alluring.

Seems they have a big event already planned for that day as well, so who knows, maybe it's just an all nighter and carries on? They couldn't do that surely?

That's a mammoth task however they do it.

I presume it will run similar to how Disney have done their very popular events. Open from 6am - 6am and then reopen for the next operating day a few hours later. Rides would potentially go down for a few hours to do their daily checks ready for
the next day.

Disneyland have apparently been considering doing a 60 hour opening for their 60th birthday later this year.
