SeaWorld Orlando: General Discussion

Couldn't a simple comprise be stop the shows completely and focus on making the enclosures bigger for the animals?
I think that's what is proposed, since I'm guessing they wouldn't know how to live in the wild. Replace the seating wifh a very big tank and add some viewing platforms :)

On an unrelated note, Wikipedia states that Infinity Falls is opening on 1st August 2018. Is this true, out of interest?

A water coaster like the one at Volcano Bay would be a good fit, it's the only slide type I can think of that they don't have.

Another water slide?! They really are investing into Aquatica, aren't they? I guess Volcano Bay and the WDW water parks are keeping them on their toes!

According to CanobieFan on CoasterForce Forum, they are having issues with the pumps:

I doubt it. Word is they are having issues with multiple pumps moving water in the ride and the filtration system isn't working.... The ride has been drained, again.
Oh dear... would seem as though SeaWorld is having to work out a few kinks with the ride. I'm optimistic that it will open very soon, however! It looks almost complete to me!

SeaWorld 2nd Quarter results have been announced today:

-Attendance increased by 4.8% despite more unfavourable weather in Texas and Florida markets.

-Revenues grew by 4.9% driven in part by double digit growth in season/annual passes.

-Admission per capita decreased by 4.2% due to higher mix of season pass & waterpark guests which was offset by a 6.2% increase in in park spending per capita.

-Positive trends have continued throughout July.

Great news that SeaWorld have been able to continue their momentum in a quarter that proved tricky for Six Flags and in particular Cedar Fair.

Good to see that SeaWorld is beginning to make a recovery, in my opinion!

All I know is this has never happened before.

Busch Gardens are also doing special promotions/events for national rollercoaster day as well so it may well not be related to a delayed Infinity Falls.

Oh my! SeaWorld have really gone all out with the theming here, haven't they?

I'm going to make a bold statement; I think that this looks like one of the best rapids rides in the world!
