Going to look pretty awesome seeing a Dive Coaster fly out of that tunnel!

Oh wow! That will be a lovely near miss with Vortex!

A bit of an update on the Canada's Wonderland B&M Dive Coaster. Track has been spotted at the B&M plant in Ohio which is very likely to be for this coaster:

The following teaser has also been spotted in the park:

It is based on this poster, but with 2 additional hikers added:

A photo, rather than a video, would have sufficed however some track has arrived at Canada's Wonderland:

:)

Why is the world obsessed with video o_O

I do wonder if a Wing coaster might have been a better fit, but I'm sure this will be a hit. That said, Oblivion is still my favourite dive coaster.

Revenue made from advertising I assume. If I come acorss a photo I shall replace the video in my post!

Looks like they are going for the same, or at least very similar, colour scheme as Valravn. Will be interesting to see how the coaster differs and whether Cedar Fair give Canda's Wonderland the biggest Dive Coaster in the world.

:)

@Rob true. I can take or leave Valravn, see what you make of it this summer. I thought the 6 across rides would allow for the platform to be far more nimble but I don't think they really nailed that.

The 30 seat trains on Griffon are outrageous, but again... *shrugs*

I do love Griffon, especially on the outside seats, and am not expecting Valravn to quite live up to it. But I am sure it is a a solid coaster just as this will be.

:)

So looks like there’s an official announcement due 15th August as per the park’s Instagram account.

Am I being a snob if I admit to laughing at some of the awful comments on their video?

“Still think it’s a wing launched coaster”
“OMGG WE MIGHT GET THE SKYRIDER BACK”
“R we getting a RMC”
“It’s like Flight Deck”

Ahhh general public!

To add to what @Sazzle said above, Kenny Cook over on CoasterForce Forum has apparently heard a few facts about Canada's Wonderland's 2019 Dive Coaster. Here's what he heard:
Kenny Cook on CoasterForce said:
Here's everything I was told:
Name- The Ledge
Type- B&M dive
Theme- Scenic dropoff point on the historic chilkhoot trail
Lockers- Yes (they won't make you put your phone in it however)
Bins on platforms for bags- Yes
Trains- 3
Hypothetical Capacity- 1200pph
Realistic Capacity- 950pph
Restraints- B&M Dive Vest with seatbelt
Fastline Capabilities- Fastlane plus only
Gift Shop- Yes
Certainly sounds interesting! The Ledge is a fitting name for a Dive Coaster, in my opinion! Here's the link to CoasterForce Forum: http://coasterforce.com/forums/threads/canadas-wonderland-unknown-b-m-dive-coaster.42227/page-17

Not sure what to think. There are bits that I really like, bits that I think aren't great. Dive coasters are great though so I'm sure it'll be a fun ride :)

About time we got one with a proper first half, wouldn't have minded though if they put the mcbr earlier and moved an inversion after it to make the second half more than a drop and a helix. Looks very good though.

Looks brilliant! One of the best Dive Coasters yet, in my opinion! I'm not too sure on the name, but I'm sure it'll grow on me over time!

Nice to see some more unique dive coaster layouts recently. Looks to be the best of the big ones. :)
