Have to do it before you arrive also VIP pass holders should get punch in the face before enteringIQ test at the park gates? Might cause a bit of a backlog. Though for MAP holders I guess you'd only have to do it once.

No.Just to bring this back on topic I think the reason the monorail gets away without air gates is because it's outside the park and therefore the bubble wrap rule doesn't apply. People see it as a mode of transport and not a ride.
Yes.Alas there is a different attitude people take whilst inside a Theme Park. I know it as the "turnstile effect". Normally reasonable minded people drop all common sense, enter holiday mode and assume they can do no wrong. This is why The Smiler crash caused a massive culture shock but a minibus crashing in London injuring 16 people wouldn't even make the news.
I dont really see how someone could "fall into the rapids" unless :-
(a) they climbed over the fence already there
(b) they climbed over the fence already there
(c) they climbed over the fence already there
(D) they climbed up, sat on the fence already there, loose their balance and fall into the ride area.
As for the fencing on the bridge, i think a rope formation that looks like rope bridge support system would look quite nice.
