Could get it from outside the park?In order to superimpose all three trains in to one image, you'd have to take three seperate exposures using a locked off tripod, which I believe are banned by the park's draconian security jobsworths.

Assuming there are no walls nearby you can put the camera on.

Great pic. Wow, that section where you get the heartline roll, second launch & immelmann in quick succession should be awesome

Netting or bag/security checks similar to dragon challenge post-incident.Another photo from Mandy:

That whole area is going to look and feel very different! Although with so much track going over the pathways, and with this being the UK, plenty of ugly netting is going to need to go up.

I'd rather put up with the net rather than the faff of lockers and the like. BPB let us take bags on Revolution, I'm sure they'll not be too strictPrefer the latter. The netting won’t just look ugly, it’ll block some great views and photo ops of PMBO next to Icon.
Only about a dozen bits of track now on the north car park, with a similar number of supports.
Nice to be on there legitimately.
Season pass renewal passed without incident.
Tea, coffe, juice and Mr Funshine biscuits free and abundant.
Queued behind Big One Brian, up to 12,340 rides if I remember correctly.
What a star.

Mr Funshine biscuits free and abundant.
Absolutely love these, easily the finest in-park biscuit.

I'm pretty sure they will have to cover all the areas where it passes over walkways which seems to be a lot.I'd rather put up with the net rather than the faff of lockers and the like. BPB let us take bags on Revolution, I'm sure they'll not be too strict![]()
Revolution doesn't really pass over any areas where people will be. Other than the station which is caged.
I'm in two minds because it's a real pain having lockers and security which is also added staff costs but would make the interaction much more special.
I'm pretty sure we will see netting. Or maybe we will see nothing until someone looses an eye!

Well, Galactica flies over FV's paths and there is no netting.
Is it not more a requirement on new installations? Stealth, Swarm, Rita have themWell, Galactica flies over FV's paths and there is no netting.

I’m sure it’s more of a preference on Merlin’s part rather than a regulation as such. I would be very surprised if excessive netting is placed under Icon. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to see no such netting at all - just baggage boxes and a written/audio warning about loose articles.

Yeah, that's what I hope they do.I’m sure it’s more of a preference on Merlin’s part rather than a regulation as such. I would be very surprised if excessive netting is placed under Icon. I would guess the likelihood of netting will increase in proportion to the number of mobile phones to the head.
Smiler and Rita have netting because they throw folks phones out of their pockets, Air doesn’t so much (partly due to the vice like grip on the thighs and partly because it does feck all at that part of the ride.

Is it really asking too much of riders to have their stuff in zipped pockets? It’s not rocket science
