I think that's linked into the ministry of joy, I have a theory they are good to use the maze at SF to introduce this ministry of joy and then suggest they are behind the creation of X-Sector.

Will be interesting

Ohhhh.. well.. now that's interesting! I'm certainly getting a 'crazy' kind of vibe! Are there more, or just the one? We've a few members on park today, one definitely in the next half hour or so. Oooohhhh how exciting :p!

I believe it's painted on the floor in a few locations in towers street :) not just the one !

Seems that they go from Towers Street and head to X-Sector, we should have some images up soon :)

From our Facebook page:

"It seems there are currently eight of these new logos (including this one on the SW7 promotional banner), all leading up to the SW7 site! What do you think they could be for?"

With them being on the SW7 banner I think we can assume this could be linked in with SW7.

The longer you look at that logo for the creepier it gets. Very well designed in that respect :p

Almost looks very cheshire cat from Alice in wonderland when just his smile and eyes remain.

Great idea but as I said before, a bigger card template would have looked better as you can see the square edge!

Oh I don't know, I think it makes it look more hurried with the border, less neat, less 'official', which I think looks good.

In a way, you could look at it as if the Ministry of Joy broke into the park overnight, making themselves known by plastering their trademark logo around the park. To give people the sign that something is coming, they are coming.

Just a thought to stick to some kind of narrative here. :p

I assumed the visible edges were on purpose too. Great minds and that

Looks fantastic! Definitely something to get excited about anyway! Can't wait to see how this pans out in the next few weeks leading up to Scarefest...

Could this be part of the logo for SW7?

I think it's most likely, since marketing was started today, Nemesis Oblivion's logo was revealed a significant amount before opening and I don't think they would show it otherwise.

Unless it's the logo for the secret government facility/operation, I don't think it's very X-Sector-y though, but it'd be logical if it was teased more in The Sanctuary as they are obviously linked. I'd expect spoilers from The Sanctuary, they will really push The Sanctuary because of this. Even better I'm hoping for Scarefest 2013.

But it does its job, implents fear and mystery. Gives me the chills... but then again it's always cold Oop' North. I still like it though, but as Towers Street'ers, we always have to moan. Looks like I've got a new logo to add to my Alton collage then.

Looks very 'Ministry of Joy'-ish. Looks creepy. I like it.

Although linking the logo to the inversions is a bit far fetched isn't it? I think it's just a coincidence.

Just to note if Th13teen is anything to go by I wouldn't assume this is the rides Logo. Nearly all the early marketing images for that ride ended up being irrelevant.

However I personally think it looks really good and if the grin is a reference to what I suspect will become the centrepiece inversion I hope they put it to good use.
