Nope, there's been no mention of track today.
I think we'll at least see track stored in one of the car parks before the season ends. May be if we're lucky we may get a glimpse of vertical construction too.
There's been constant rumours of track arriving the past few weeks so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it appears on park.

Putting aside the indoor bit and/or the pioneering element, it is actually possible for the entire track to be installed in a week or so.
There is no actual evidence whatsoever to suggest they are "behind schedule" and I still think there's a very good chance that track will not be seen before 5 November.

Hello! I see you're new here, welcome to TowersStreet!
There are no videos online yet of the face projected on the Towers. However there are quite a lot of members on park this weekend. So keep an eye out in the Scarefest 2012 topic for any pictures and videos of Scarefest and the face over the coming days/weeks.

On the subject of the projector is it likely it'll still be up for the Fireworks?
I'm kind of hopping they do something during the Fireworks and not just on the last night. Maybe one section to do with SW7 and then have them extend it on the last night to reveal the rides name or something like that
They did it at Heide Park for Krake and The Swarm had that blown up fire truck.

marketing at merlin has definitely gotten better recently. despite all the stupid gimmicky stuff they do, I appreciate that they do know how to cause a stir.
but what could they blow up this time?

Hi Guys, here is SPIN DOCTORS interpretation of how the secret element could (and should) look on TowersTimes.
As you can see it uses the Maurer Sohne system demonstrated in the video for lapbars, but his impression does allow you to see in from the shop floor. He used OTSR but he's thinking lapbars are a more likely result as he think lapbars would make this element a lot more comfortable for the rider. For the train however, he created two eurofighter trains attached together, borrowing from a similar style to the Oblivion train to fit in with X-Sector.
Hope you enjoy these

Hey there
I am firmly in the 'what you see is what you get' group when it comes to the outdoor layout, and any changes will be quite minor. I can't remember any of the UK parks ever deviating from the planned application. I do think it will 98% be like the plan. The only difference I think there could be is if there is some kind of world's first element it could easily be outside but not detailed in the drawing. So I strongly believe the general layout will be as planned but there could be some kind of extra fancy bit or even several of them not drawn on. These track layouts don't just change on a whim so I find it very difficult to believe there is any significant change but as someone else here said there could well be 'extras'.
I seem to remember there is a strange looking straight section of track which pretty much comes over the the top of the main area where guests will walk in. Maybe a special element is being planned for that as it would look impressive above the entrance to the area. Just a thought happy to be disproved or mocked.
Very excited about this coaster the marketing is great already as well as Alton's very good secret keeping. Everyone has been kept guessing which is great. Would be really great if the smiley face is used in teaser marketing next year in quick 2 second adverts sort of like the big brother eye used to be.
After going on the sanctuary yesterday I am also hopeful for some pre or post show. Maybe the shop with the supposed glass floor could actually part of the show?
Just some of my random thoughts after my visit this weekend. Also I'm still excited for an Acadia style spider hopefully as I posted a few weeks ago! Sorry for all my long posts just bored in the car on the way home today
Edit: That secret element concept looks great would be quite happy with revolving track if it ends up looking anything close to that!
