The queue of Ghost Train isn't great, but it is better than DBGT's queue due to the posters. I queued for about an hour for my first ride and 25 minutes for my second ride. My second ride was the last Ghost Train ride of the day. The pre show is good. I preferred it to the DBGT pre show. This explains the theme of the ride. After that, you climb some stairs, and there are two televisions. Then, you turn left and enter the attraction. The reveal of the train is very good, and I like the colour scheme of the train. As you enter the train, you choose your seats. If you take a bag into the attraction, you have to put it on your lap. Then, the train starts moving and the actors on the train introduce themselves. After that, one of them does a 'ticket check', while the other one shouts, 'You don't need no tickets!' The incorrect grammar annoyed me a bit. The lights in the train go dark every once in a while, and the actors use the darkness to jump out at people. The far left area of the train seems the best position for this. Soon, you are told to exit the train. After that, you enter an area with quite a lot of skulls. The people in the area tell you a bit more about the story. At one point, their voices turn demonic. It felt more humorous than scary, though. Suddenly, a creature swoops past your heads from above. It reminded me of the infamous Ghost Corridor section of the original Haunted House at Alton Towers. Then, an actor who is hooded starts running around. This actor wasn't so good on the first ride, but they were much better on the second ride, where it got into my face a few times, although I had to position myself correctly for this to happen. Then, you enter the train for the second time. The far left is the best area for this as well. There are some demonic voices from the actors. Then, some nuns appear from the left side door. On my first ride, there was only one nun but on my second ride, there were two. They run up and down the train, but mainly focus on the far left area. I was seated on the far left on my second ride, so the nuns focused quite a lot of attention on me. I still wouldn’t say that it was scary, but it is funny to watch the reactions of other people. There are some UV effects. The ‘See it, Say it, Sorted' announcement plays, and then you get off. You then enter the fake shop. It all seems normal. You are told that there has been an incident in the Last Call Café. Suddenly, certain objects shake. An actor appears near some screens. The actor leaves, and the actor from the pre show says that it is soul redemption, not photo redemption. A few more things shake and then the ride ends.
I really enjoyed this ride! It was extremely fun, and far better than DBGT. The best bit is the reactions of other people, but I also enjoyed the creature on a track. The theming is quite good.
